IT seems keeping out goals isn’t enough for Chalk Scratchings shot-stopper Chris Douse, writes Steve Barnett.

The goalkeeper joined an elite list at the weekend when he showed off his cat-like reflexes at the opposite end of the field to score a rare goal in the Camden Sunday League.

His clinical finish earnt him the man-of-the-match award, eclipsing team-mate Ed Jones who scored twice as Chalk Scratchings beat Surreal Madrid 3-1 at Hackney Marshes to book their place in the next round of the much-sought after Challenge Cup.

Meanwhile the biggest win of the weekend belonged to Auld Shillelagh, who took over at the top of the Division One table after smashing in seven against AFC Brasenose.

Their 7-1 victory saw them leapfrog title rivals Badu Sports FC and The Hurricanes, whose top-of-the-table clash against each other on Sunday was postponed.
